The Handyscope HS3 is a professional computer controlled USB measuring instrument that consists of six measuring instruments: a USB Multimeter, a USB Oscilloscope, a USB Spectrum analyzer, a USB Data logger/Transient recorder, a Protocol analyzer and an AWG. This powerful and compact measuring instrument can solve almost every measurement problem.
The Handyscope HS3 features a user selectable 12 bit, 14 bit or 16 bit resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB), 200 mV - 80 V full scale input range and 128 Ksamples record length per channel. The Handyscope HS3 is available in five models, with a maximum sampling rate of respectively 5 MS/s, 10 MS/s, 25 MS/s, 50 MS/s or 100 MS/s on both channels simultaneously (100 MS/s only in 8 bit resolution).
The universal Multi Channel software that is standard delivered with the Handyscope HS3 turns your PC into a storage oscilloscope, a spectrum analyzer, a multimeter, a datalogger/transient recorder and a protocol analyzer. An intelligent auto setup allows the inexperienced user to perform measurements immediately. Complex mathematical operations can be performed live on the measured data. The software allows you to save instrument settings on disk. Later these setting files can be recalled, reducing the setup time of your instrument to an absolute minimum.
When the Handyscope HS3 does not offer enough input channels, the Handyscope HS3 can be coupled to one or more other instruments. This allows to make a combined instrument which will enable synchronized measuring on all channels of all combined instruments.
Besides measuring in block mode, the Handyscope HS3 is also capable of performing continuous streaming measurements. This will create a continuous uninterrupted data stream to the computer. The data can then be displayed on the screen and/or saved to disk.
The integrated AWG operates fully independent from the measuring system of the Handyscope HS3. It has a 50 MS/s sampling clock, a 256K samples deep waveform memory, a 14 bit output resolution and a ± 12 Volt output range. The AWG allows you to generate test signals for your measurements in any shape you like. Several standard signal shapes are available and it is possible to regenerate previous measured signals.
Connected to the fast USB 2.0 (High Speed, 480 Mbit/s), the Handyscope HS3 doesn't require an external power supply, therefore the Handyscope HS3 easily complies to "Plug in and measure".
