Multi Channel software
The Multi Channel software package is the world's most versatile measuring software package. It is designed to work with all TiePie engineering USB measuring instruments. Together with TiePie engineering instruments, it can be used as:
- Oscilloscope
- Spectrum analyzer
- Transient recorder / data logger
- Multimeter
- Arbitrary Waveform Generator
- Protocol analyzer

The Multi Channel software can control an unlimited amount of measuring instruments, with an unlimited amount of channels. Supported instruments are:
Multiple instruments can be combined to form a larger combined instrument, acting as a single instrument with many channels. The software can display this data in an unlimited amount of different displays with very different possibilities on how to display the measured data. In addition to the measured data of the instrument input channels, the software can also show processed data, internal software signal generators and other sources.
The Multi Channel software has a modular structure, with sources, I/O's and sinks. Sources are modules that generate data, like measuring instruments (hardware) or software generators. I/O's are modules that accept data (Input), process this data in a specific way, like e.g. adding, multiplying, filtering, etc. and then generate the processed data (Output). Sinks are modules that only accept data, like e.g. graphs and meters. Modules can be combined and connected to each other to create measurement applications that range from very simple to very complex.
