I don't see any signals in the oscilloscope / transient recorder / spectrum analyzer

When I run the measurement software for my instrument,
the oscilloscope, transient recorder and spectrum
analyzer do not function, there is no signal visible.
The voltmeter, however, does function properly, it
shows correct values. What is wrong? |

Your computer is running Windows NT4, Windows 2000 or Windows XP and the video chip set in your computer is a member of the ATI Rage (Mobility) chip set family. The driver software for this chip set contains a bug that is revealed by our software. The signals are drawn in the same colour as the background, so they are not visible.
ATI has solved this bug. Driver software for the ATI Rage Mobility chip set version M6.12 and newer should no longer contain this bug. To get this driver software, please contact the manufacturer of your computer or ATI.
TiePie engineering measurement software version 2.32 and newer have a work around for this bug. In certain circumstances the issue is avoided and the signals will be visible. Only when True Colour/ 24/32 bits colours/ 16777217 colours are set in the display properties for Windows, the signals will be visible. |
