Software will not find Handyprobe HP1 / Handyscope

I have a Handyprobe HP1 or Handyscope which has DOS software. Now I want to use Windows based software to operate the instrument. I downloaded Handyprobe HP2 / Handyscope 2 software from your site, but this software does not recognize my instrument. What can be wrong? |

The acquisition timing for the Handyprobe HP1 or Handyscope is controlled by the software on the computer. In Windows, the accuracy of the timing can not be guaranteed, because of the fact that windows is a multi tasking environment. It will pause the software every now and then and as a result of that, events on the input channels can be missed. The most accurate way to operate your Handyprobe HP1 or Handyscope is on a computer without windows running.
The software for the Handyprobe HP2 or the Handyscope 2 can't be used together with the Handyprobe HP1 or the Handyscope. Internally these instruments are completely different. |
