The grid is not printed
Q |
When I print the measurements I have made in the oscilloscope, I get a printout without a grid. In the preview window, a grid is visible, but not on the paper. Why? |
A |
This is caused by the printer driver of your printer. The preview window is drawn with the same routine as the print function, so everything that is visible in the preview windows, should be visible on the printout.
The grid is drawn in a specific way, to get a good contrast with the lines of the signal. Unfortunately, some printer drivers that support a kind of resolution enhancement technology, ignore the grid lines for some reason.
Measurement software version 2.2 and newer have a new routine for drawing the grid in the print function. This results in slightly thicker grid lines, but now they will not be skipped by the resolution enhancement technology functions in the printer driver. So to solve the problem, new software has to be installed. This software can be downloaded freely from our web site. |
