DasyLab driver updated to version 1.2

The driver that is needed to use the TiePie engineering instruments with DaysLab has been updated to version 1.2.

DasyLab

The following has been changed:

  • Added support for streaming (continuous) measurements.
  • Added trigger source 'none'.
  • Instrument specific information is now handed to DasyLab so it can be saved and restored.
  • Parameter for InitInstrument is gotten from TPDasy.ini-General-InitParam.

You can find the driver and instructions to use it here. To get the DLL for you instrument, check the download area.

Multi Channel software update, version 1.0.13

Version 1.0.13 of the Multi Channel software is now available for download. A demo version is also available, which can be used without connecting measuring instruments.

This update is released because the probe gain of the Handyscope HS4 and Handyscope HS4 DIFF did not work in streaming mode in version 1.0.12. This problem has been fixed in this release.

Multi Channel software update, version 1.0.12

Version 1.0.12 of the Multi Channel software is now available for download. A demo version is also available, which can be used without connecting measuring instruments.

This is a list of some of the changes:

  • Added support for new instrument: TiePieSCOPE HS805.
  • Demo instruments with hardware specific settings can now be created. A demo instrument can now for example emulate a Handyscope HS3 or TiePieSCOPE HS805.
  • SQRT I/O added.
  • DI-770 instruments are now supported.
  • Neutralize input Offset action added to Gain/Offset-I/O. Sets the input offset to the average input value.
  • RPM-I/O:
    • A new detection method searches for slopes instead of peaks. All known crankshaft signals are now detected correctly.
    • Pulses per revolution changed to floating point number. This can be usefull for measurements other than engine RPM's.
  • In case of a big channel record length, the data size of the data collectors created with the transient quickfunction is set to a larger value.
  • Resistance measuring added for supporting Handyscope HS4's and Handyscope HS4 DIFF's.
  • Connection test added for supporting Handyscope HS4's and Handyscope HS4 DIFF's. Connection test is enabled with hotkey 'C'.
  • Meter segment displays now use resolution to determine number of digits.
  • Meter gauge displays prefix unit with [..,u,m,k,M,..] to prevent labels like 200m.
  • Graph comments can now be cloned.

TiePieSCOPE HS805

TiePieSCOPE HS805 Image

1 GSamples/s sampling rate

250 MHz bandwidth

32 MiSamples record length per channel

20 MHz Arbitrary Waveform Generator

TiePie engineering introduces the TiePieSCOPE HS805, the latest member of the TiePieSCOPE family of PC based oscilloscopes.

With a maximum sampling rate of 1 GSamples/s on one channel and 500 MSamples/s on two channels, 32 MiSamples record length per channel and 250 MHz bandwidth, the TiePieSCOPE HS805 is the PC based oscilloscope for your high speed measurement needs.

The built in Arbitrary Waveform Generator can generate signals up to 20 MHz with amplitudes up to 24 V peak to peak. The waveform buffer of 32 MiSamples allows to generate complex arbitrary signals.

Combined with the Multi Channel Software, the TiePieSCOPE HS805 turns your PC into an Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Multimeter and Transient recorder.

Visit the TiePieSCOPE HS805 pages for more information.
