Multi Channel measurement software - Introduction

The Multi Channel software package is the next generation of measuring software for the TiePie engineering measuring instruments. Together with TiePie engineering instruments, it can be used as:

• Oscilloscope
• Spectrum analyzer
• Voltmeter
• Arbitrary Waveform Generator
• Transient recorder / data logger

These pages show some of the key features and basic functionality of the Multi Channel software. Information about how to use the software can be found in the classroom section.

The new Multi Channel software can control an unlimited amount of measuring instruments, with an unlimited amount of channels. The software can display this data in an unlimited amount of different displays with very different possibilities on how to display the measured data. In addition to the measured data of the instrument input channels, the software can also show processed data, internal software signal generators and other sources.

The Multi Channel software is available in two versions. In the normal version, the Handyscope HS3, Handyscope HS4 and the Handyscope HS4 DIFF are supported. In the demo version, no hardware is supported, but it is possible to create multiple demo instruments and it is also possible to combine these instruments to form a combined instrument.
