TiePie engineering measuring instruments can work together with DASYLab. This extends the possibilities of the TiePie engineering measuring instruments even further.

InstallationCopy the following files to the directory where DASYLab is installed:
Modify DASYLab.iniLocate the file DASYLab.ini. In DASYLab version 9 and lower, this file is located in the application directory where DASYLab is installed.
Starting with DASYLab version 10, this file is located in a different folder on the computer, to meet the Windows Vista requirements:

On Windows XP, that folder is located at

In the file DASYLab.ini, change or add the following lines:

Modify TPDasy.iniIf you use a different instrument than a Handyscope HS3, you will have to change the DLL name in TPDasy.ini to the name of the DLL for your instrument. By default the name is set to:

Using the instrument in DASYLab
DASYLab version 10Start DASYLab. Then go to Measurement -> Driver selection... and select the TiePie instrument. You can now use the instrument.
You can find it under Modules -> Input/Output -> Driver -> Analog input. Drag this object onto the worksheet. When you double-click it, a dialog will pop up in which you can enable different channels.
Time base settings can be changed in Measurement -> Time Bases -> All Settings....
To change other instrument settings, go to Measurement -> Driver....
