TiePie engineering most innovative company in the Northern Netherlands.

September 28, 2018

In the Innovation Top 100 2018 for small and medium sized businesses, organized by the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, TiePie engineering has turned out to be the most innovative company in the Northern Netherlands. TiePie engineering was included in the Top 100 because of the innovations that resulted in the Handyscope HS6 DIFF.

Handyscope HS6 DIFF and Multi Channel software

TiePie engineering develops and manufactures computer controlled measuring instruments. With the Handyscope HS6 DIFF - 1000XMSG a unique measuring instrument is developed. This USB oscilloscope operates easy and reliable, enabling the user to design, improve and maintain his products easier.

3 unique properties

Measurements at electronic systems become more and more important, e.g. at R&D, registration, production, maintenance and education. TiePie added three unique properties to the Handyscope HS6 DIFF - 1000XMSG that make the instrument unique in the whole world.
SafeGround protects the instrument against a short circuit, as well as the device under test. It uses a very fast switching technique with a very low capacity, causing no load at the device under test.
SureConnect ensures the user that the test probes have a physical and electrical connection to to the device under test, avoiding measurement errors.
The CMI interface allows to combine multiple measuring instruments to a larger, fully synchronized measuring instrument without requiring specific knowledge or high cost.

Very detailed display

The Handyscope HS6 DIFF measures with high resolutions of 14 and 16 bit, that is 256 times more resolution than most standard oscilloscopes. That makes it possible to measure signals with much more accuracy, because the quantification error is much smaller. To display a signal that is measured with the Handyscope HS6 DIFF high resolution oscilloscope with the same amount of details as a standard oscilloscope, the display can be 256 times larger. When displayed at a 24 inch screen, you will get a very detailed representation of the signal. The smallest variations will be visible. Because of the high resolution, it is still possible to zoom in to reveal more details.

Measuring is knowing, but know which instrument to measure with.
