Multi Channel oscilloscope software

Title Description
Getting started Some examples to get started working with the software.
Quick Setups To simplify setting up the measurements, the Multi Channel oscilloscope software contains a large number of Quick Setups. A Quick Setup contains the basic settings for a specific measurement. After loading the Quick Setup, that specific measurement can be performed.
User presets When several specific measurement settings are often used, they can be assigned to user presets. User presets can be loaded by one click on a button on the user preset toolbar.
Instruments This page describes how the Handyscopes can be opened and controlled in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
Instrument toolbar This page describes how to control the hardware instruments in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software by means of the instrument toolbar. An instrument toolbar is available for each instrument. The instrument toolbar is fully configurable. It shows the current settings of the instrument and allows to change all settings.
Instrument popup menu and settings window This page describes how to control oscilloscopes in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software by means of popup menus and settings windows. When the oscilloscope in the object tree is right clicked, a popup menu is opened, showing all settings and actions which are available for that oscilloscope or channel. When the oscilloscope is double clicked, the corresponding toolbutton is clicked or the corresponding popup menu item is clicked, a settings window is opened in which all relevant oscilloscope settings can be made.
Channel toolbar This page describes how to control the channels of an instrument in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software by means of the channel toolbar. A channel toolbar is created for each instrument channel. The channel toolbar gives an overview of the channel settings. These settings can be changed by clicking on the icons. The channel toolbar is fully configurable through the program settings.
Channel popup menu and settings window This page describes how to control channels in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software by means of popup menus and settings windows. When the channel in the object tree is right clicked, a popup menu is opened, showing all settings and actions which are available for that channel. When the channel is double clicked, the corresponding toolbutton is clicked or the corresponding popup menu item is clicked, a settings window is opened in which all relevant channel settings can be made.
Combining oscilloscopes With the TiePie engineering Multi Channel oscilloscope software, you are not limited to number of channels of one instrument. It is possible to combine two or more instruments to form a combined instrument. Once the instruments are combined, the resulting single instrument works just like a normal instrument. There is no limit to the number of channels in a combined instrument.
Function generators The WiFiScope WS5, Handyscope HS5 and Handyscope HS3 Arbitrary Waveform Generators can be controlled with the Arbitrary waveform generator control window
Graph section How to use graphs in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
Standard measurements An overview of the standard measurements, available in the meter and cursors.
Logging data How to use a TiePie engineering oscilloscope as a data logger.
Exporting data How to export data and information about the supported file formats.
Saving images To be able to use data displayed in a graph in reports or presentations or other applications, graphs can be saved as images in the TiePie engineering Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
Advanced measurements The TiePie engineering Multi Channel oscilloscope software has a modular structure, with measuring instruments, function generators, Sources, I/O blocks and Sinks. This page describes how these modules are created and connected to each other.
Sources Sources are objects that generate data, like instrument channels and software generators. This page lists the available sources in the TiePie engineering Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
I/O's I/Os are objects that accept data (Input), process this data in a specific way, like e.g. adding, multiplying, filtering, etc. and then generate the processed data (Output). This page lists the available I/Os in the TiePie engineering Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
Sinks Sinks are objects that only accept data, like e.g. graphs and meters and present the data to the user. This page lists the available sinks in the TiePie engineering Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
Quick functions How to use the quick functions to easily use a TiePie engineering measuring instrument for various tasks.
Settings To configure the Multi Channel oscilloscope software to personal preferences and requirements, many settings in various categories are available.
Hotkeys An overview of the hotkeys used in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software.
Files How the Multi Channel oscilloscope software uses various file types to load and store data and settings.
Command line options An overview of the command line options in the Multi Channel oscilloscope software
